A hands-on lab for robotics, low-voltage electronics and embedded systems.
The Robotics Lab is our largest lab for working with robotics, low-voltage electronics and embedded systems. It is shared with the Robotics engineering education and is used primarily for teaching, but it can also be approved for hardware-related projects. You’ll find it in the “hidden pavilions” behind the TEK building.
Location: Pavillion 5 (behind the TEK “cheese” building) , room Ø41-601a-0
What can you do here?
This is the place to build, test and debug hardware. The lab supports courses and projects in robotics, low-voltage electronics and embedded systems.
Students commonly use the lab to:
- Build and test low-voltage electronic circuits.
- Work on robotics and embedded systems projects.
- Solder and handle electronic components.
- Measure and debug signals using oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Carry out hardware-related project work, with approval.
Equipment available
The Robotics Lab is equipped with:
- Modern low-voltage power supplies
- Oscilloscopes
- Multimeters
- Tools for soldering and handling electronic components
Key info
- Largest lab for hardware work: space for robotics, low-voltage electronics and embedded systems.
- Modern equipment: low-voltage power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters and soldering tools.
- Shared with teaching: the lab is primarily used for Robotics engineering teaching.
- Safety course required: training is part of our hardware-related bachelor courses.
How to Access
Access to the lab requires a safety course, which is taught in our hardware-related courses during the bachelor education.
The lab is primarily a teaching space. If you want to use it for a hardware-related project, you need to have your use approved first.
If teaching is ongoing in the lab, please do not disturb.
