Presentations, articles & SoMe

In addition to the final events of MYRE DK-DE in Odense and in Kiel, numerous opportunities to spread the mission and methods of MYRE had emerged and have been seized by both the Danish and German project members throughout the project.

Articles

In addition to several scientific publications referring to MYRE DK-DE, some local media reported on the project’s activities.

Thus, German articles covered topics such as robotics, sensors, and artificial intelligence, with the didactics of the local teaching modules. The “Girls’ Day” for lower secondary students was described as a convincing initiative. Finally, a student’s independent project of 3D-printing a fully functional water power plant station was also highlighted.

Presentations - examples

In Germany

On September 27, 2024, the German RBZ Wirtschaft Kiel had the pleasure of offering their location as a venue for an exhibition showcasing innovative technological and sustainable initiatives for educational professionals as well as public stakeholders.

In this context, teachers and students from the Informatics study line of the college presented excerpts from the MYRE teaching modules and invited visitors to fly drones, explore the students’ digital learning journeys, or simply have an informal chat about business studies.

The dialogues resulted not only in professional interest from researchers in the didactics of MYRE, but also new students to sign up for the study line at RBZ Wirtschaft Kiel.

In Denmark

Meanwhile, some of the Danish MYRE teachers from Svendborg Business High School provided valuable inspiration to teachers from vocational programs in gardening, the social and health sector, as well as data technology.

The sharing of knowledge and experiences led to the adaptation to new teaching modules in Jutland, Denmark.

Social media and newsletters

The interim and final results of MYRE DK-DE were publicly promoted through newsletters and social media.

This led to inquiries from civil servants in the education sector, researchers, and vocational high schools interested in joining the MYRE initiative.

Inspiration could be transferred between regions in Denmark and across the country border.
